MP3 Skype recorder v.6.1.4

Posted on: Sun, 09/27/2020 - 21:40 By: VOIP

Version 6.1.4 adds  backwards compatibility with older version of Skype app. Despite being updated automatically some users may still have older versions of Skype app. Previous version of MP3 Skype recorder v6.1.3 had problems recording these outdated versions. We decided to add backward compatibility, though it will not save contact details for the calls. We strongly recommend to update your Skype anyway.

FAQ: My voice is too low on the recording

Posted on: Mon, 06/01/2020 - 19:39 By: VOIP

Q:My voice is too low on the recording
A: You may need to increase mic volume in Windows settings. NOT in Skype settings!

Start typing 'Sound settings' in Windows searchbar and open Sound Settings  from the list.

You should see Settings windows, make sure that Sound tab is selected. In the 'Input' section, make sure that your microphone is selected in drop-down list of input devices. Click Device properties.

Increase mic volume to max.
