My sound gets recorded but not the other person (or vice versa)

Q: Only once side of conversation get recorded

A:Make sure that you are using the latest recorder version
Make sure that both speakers are working. The recording is stereo - your voice in the left speaker, the person you speaking with in the right.
!! Important  !! set audio devices to be recorded manually and don't switch audio devices once recording is started.

How to make MP3 Skype recorder to use Skype API

Make sure that recorder is allowed to access Skype API.
- Open Skype client
- Click Tools in the upper menu
- Choose Options
- In the new window click Advanced tab on the right bottom
- Click Manage other programs' access to Skype in the bottom
- Locate  MP3SkypeRecorder.exe in the list, click it to select and click Change button on the right
- Click Allow the program to use Skype
- Click OK and click Save to save changes

Error. Root element is missing.

Q: I have tried to reapir my skype MP3 recorder but it says this-
System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: Configuration system failed to initialize ---> System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: Root element is missing. (C:\Users\Gill\AppData\Local\Alexander_Nikiforov\MP3_Skype_Recorder.exe_Url_rttyapoey00k3qd0mc3ntgkhl5tno54t\3.1.1.2\user.config) ---> System.Xml.XmlException: Root element is missing.
   at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e)
