Q: Will Skype recorder work automatically for inbound calls as well as outbound calls? When I make a call and the recorder launches I always worried whether it is recording or not. It would be great if there was some "Green Light" that displayed to reassure me that the recorder is recording. Otherwise, how can I know?

A: MP3 Skype recorder is recording all types of Skype calls: incoming, outgoing, Skype-to-Skype, Skype to phone numbers and calls to Skype landline number. Assuming this calls are made or received with Skype Classic, Skype for desktop, Skype app for Windows 10 or Skype for business. Skype online is not supported, it is web page/app in browser and can't be recorded.
Once recorder is started you get popup notification for start of recording. Additionally there is real-time recording files size on the status bar of main recorder window. It is shown as red number changing. Once recording is finished you get one more notification for the end of recording. These notifications can be switched off (Pro users only)
