Some strange empty window

Some strange empty window sometimes visible with title skypecallrecorder and it's breaking some full screen applications forcibly obtaining focus
Html notification about new version in Vista has different font type (and not fitting well) and different background than other part of the window

Version 7.2.1 OS Windows vista 64. Program records great on outgoing skype calls. BUT, I can not get it to record incoming calls. Clicking record button does not help. I have used previous versions with same problem. Is this operator error? Thank you for an otherwise perfect program.

0.7.2.1 is experiencing the

0.7.2.1 is experiencing the same problem I started having with the 0.7.1.1 release...some recordings are corrupt and at some point during playback it just jumps to the end of the recording.
I have not been able to reproduce the problem on demand, and I haven’t been able to associate any particular computer activity to the problem. I haven’t added any new software or updates to my computer (Vista Business, 32bit, SP1)
I’ve been using the new Joint Stereo recording mode at 128 bits. I’ve now switched to Mono at 128 to see if that changes anything. I’ll probably have to give it a week before I can be confidently sure that it’s working. Of course, if there’s still a problem I may know right away.

Have just started using

Have just started using V0.7.2.1 with latest Skype 4.0. Made a Skype (my end) to Cellphone call (her end) to daughter in Mozambique. During call audio from her was normal with no distortion even hinted at as well as mine audio was very clean. After call played back the call that Skype Recorder recorded and noticed that her audio had some clipping in it. My audio was clean and much of hers was also. The graphic waveform (played back through WMV player) did not show alot of distortion however I did notice some fuzziness at times. Any suggestions to locate the source of distortion in her audio?

This is a great recorder program. I can share the calls with my family if they are not around when I call. Thank you for making this available. Skype has made the distance our family is separated very small.

I experienced the same clipping during playback when using Mono and 128 bit. I've never heard it when using Joint Stereo. I'm going to try different bit rates to see if that has an effect.

Hello, I've tried to launch

Hello, I've tried to launch "Skype Call Recorder" today and got a .NET Framework error. I've tried repairing .NET Framework 3.5, Installed v1.1 of it, I have 2.0 already installed and still no luck - the same error occurs. I'm working on Windows Vista Home Premium SP1. The error is the following: I try to launch Skype Call Recorder and the dialog about .NET Framework appears with "Continue", "More details" and "Cancel" buttons. If I click the "Continue" button, Skype Call Recorder opens, but it doesn't work at all. Please help me, because I have a Skype podcast (based on a conference call) on 8th of March and if Skype Call Recorder doesn't work, I'll not be able to record it.

Download Skype Call Recorder archive once again
Unzip it
Install using Setup.exe file, not SkypeCallRecorder.msi

If this doesn't help, try to install this Microsoft .NET Framework package (2.7 MB) prior installation of Skype Call Recorder.

in theory a nice program. but

in theory a nice program. but on my pc with version 3.8.0.188 of skype it wouldnt work correctly. i have massive skipping in audio everytime and in every config (mono, stereo, jstereo, 32,64,128) from the person i speak to. my own speaking sounds like a smashed frog or something (extremly fast and high). i cant get it to work, no matter which audio input and output i select. im using win xp sp3 and newest sound drivers. skype is allright, only the recording is crazy.

Can't recreate the problem on my computers. I can suggest to try to update your Skype, probably this will help.

The options for Recording

The options for Recording Mode (Mono / Stereo) and Recording Bitrate don´t seem to affect the resulting mp3: they appear correctly saved in the program, but all the mp3's are created as 128kbp/Mono, no matter the selection.
I use the program on Windows 2000, if that helps.

Mine all record in Mono 64bps regardless of the settings. Very frustrating as well. Should be noted that it works fine on the laptop thats running XP, but not on the computer thats running 64bit Vista.

If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {830690FC-BF2F-47A6-AC2D-330BCB402664} failed due to the following error: 8007007e. May I know what this error means? Would there be any fix for this in the future release? I'm looking forward for any answer regarding this problem. I don't know if this has been mentioned previously, and sorry if it has been. But if it hasn't, here it goes:
As you probably know, since Skype 4.0, we can launch a second copy of Skype by specifying the /secondary parameter in the run command (or putting it after the quotes in the "target" field of the shortcut properties). But if I do that and run a second copy of Skype with another account loaded, "Skype Call Recorder" will not record calls from the account witch was ran with the /secondary parameter. It will record only from the primary Skype copy, even though both copies of Skype had authorized "Skype Call Recorder". I think (but I'm not 100% sure), that if I close one of the Skype copies, "Skype Call Recorder" will record even from the account loaded with the /secondary parameter. Is this a limitation? Or it is a bug? Can you do something about it?
Me and a few friends of mine are organizing a weekly Skype conference call meeting with people and we are recording those weekly events using "Skype Call Recorder". One of my friends has to have 2 Skype accounts running at the same time and due to the problem above (and to the fact that he didn't knew about this limitation), we have lost some of our recordings (the program didn't start recording, but it didn't warn us about this as well).
