Desktop Call Recorder 3.5 is available. The app has new navy colours and a new icon, and there is now a dark theme. Earlier 3.x versions update automatically.
New colours
The app windows now use navy, the same colours as desktopcallrecorder.com. The new Theme setting in Settings, General settings has three choices: Navy (the default), Teal (the colours of earlier versions) and Dark. The windows change straight away, without a restart. The app icon is navy with every choice.
Dark theme
Dark covers the main window, the player and transcript, Settings, the Pro subscription window and Get Help. Three Windows dialogs keep the look Windows gives them: the delete confirmation, the folder picker and the notifications.
Fixes
- Fixed transcript files left behind when a recording was deleted while it was being transcribed. The transcription now stops within seconds, and a recording waiting to be transcribed is skipped.
- The Delete recording button in the notification after a call now moves the recording's transcript files to the Recycle Bin together with the recording.
- Other small fixes.
The free version transcribes the first 3 minutes of each call. Pro has no limit.
