MP3 Skype recorder was tested with the latest Skype 5.11(Beta). No problems were detected, works as expected.
The other test was performed on Windows 8 (Release Candidate), works fine as well. Additional step is required during installation on Windows 8. The installer will ask for permission to install previous version of .NET Framework 2.0 from Microsoft. It is absolutely safe to install as it will not touch or interfere with latest versions of the .NET Framework coming by default with Windows 8.
